There will be no bitcoin without the blockchain.
It is this breakthrough technology called the blockchain that gives bitcoin this prominence.
Let me explain it with what will help us understand better.
Take for example A SUPERMAN MOVIE.
Any one who watches it will see superman has the main guy. Intact the movie will not be interesting without the superman character right.
Now let me tell you something that may surprise you. The superman character is nothing, can achieve nothing, without the people in the background. Directors, producers,makeup artist, graphics expert etc.
The irony of it is that these background people don't even appear in the movie. And without them superman has no value.
It is the same way bitcoin is to the blockchain. I shall talk about possible application usage of the blockchain in part 2.
